What domains does the RHIT exam cover?

The current AHIMA RHIT exam blueprint covers six domains: (1) Data Content, Structure, and Standards — EHR systems, health data sets, classification systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, SNOMED CT), data quality; (2) Information Protection — HIPAA Privacy Rule, Security Rule, breach notification, de-identification; (3) Informatics, Analytics, and Data Use — health data analytics, performance reporting, registries, population health; (4) Revenue Cycle Management — coding guidelines, chargemaster, claim submission, DRGs, RAC audits; (5) Compliance — regulatory requirements, coding compliance, documentation standards; (6) Leadership and Management — team management, project management, HIM department operations.
